On Setember 13th 2007, Joan lost her fight with cancer. She left adaughter Julia who she loved to
bits, along with linda, Jack, Maureen, Edna, & Rita, her sisters and brother. She is so sadly
missed by everyone, but is now free from all the pain she pretended she never had. She is one of the
most brave and couragious people i have ever known, and she will always hold a special place in my
heart.( she was like a sister to me )......
You cannot see or touch me
but im standing next to you,
your tears can only hurt me
your sadness makes me blue,
be brave and show a smiling face
let not your grief show through,
I love you from a different place
yet im standing next to you.....................
You can shed tears that she has gone,
or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back,
or you can open your eyes and see all she has left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her,
or you can be full of love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow,
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her and only thats she's gone,
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind,
be empty and turn your back,
or you can do what she'd want:
